THE PROBLEM

Webhook delivery is fragile by default.

Platform delivery logs can show whether the provider attempted the request, but they do not prove Webhook Guard routing, customer-endpoint acceptance, worker completion, database commits, or ERP state. Webhook Guard records received events and separately retries delivery from Webhook Guard to your configured endpoints.

Provider logs stop early

A provider delivery log can confirm the provider-to-intake attempt, but it cannot show whether downstream routing, worker execution, or final ERP state succeeded.

No controlled recovery path

Provider retry schedules and retention differ by platform. Webhook Guard keeps its own event history and retry controls for downstream delivery to your endpoints.

Provider rules are platform-specific

Shopify documents 8 HTTPS retries over 4 hours and Admin API subscription deletion after 8 consecutive failures. BigCommerce and other providers have their own rules.

Business state still needs proof

A successful provider delivery does not prove that an order synced, inventory changed, a worker committed, or an ERP accepted the final business operation.

HOW IT WORKS

Up and running in three steps.

01

Install from your platform's marketplace

Add Webhook Guard from the Shopify App Store or BigCommerce App Marketplace. It installs directly into your store control panel — no separate accounts or external logins.

02

Create your integrations

Add the endpoint URLs you want events forwarded to. Optionally add any custom headers you need. Choose which webhook topics to subscribe to.

03

Monitor and recover

Watch deliveries arrive in real time. When something fails, retry it with one click — or let automatic retries handle it. Full payload history kept for 90 days.

THE DASHBOARD

See every webhook, in real time.

Every delivery attempt is logged with its full request, response status, and timing. Filter by status, inspect payloads, and retry with one click. Search any event by order ID, topic, delivery status, or integration.

FAQ

Common questions.

Does Webhook Guard replace platform webhooks?

No. When you add an integration in Webhook Guard and select topics, Webhook Guard automatically creates and manages the corresponding webhook subscriptions on your platform (Shopify or BigCommerce) on your behalf. Your platform sends those events to Webhook Guard, which forwards them to your endpoint with monitoring, retries, and full history. You do not need to create or manage webhooks in your platform's control panel.

How long are events stored?

Every webhook delivery attempt is kept for 90 days, including the full request payload and response details.

Can I retry failed deliveries?

Yes. Webhook Guard retries failed downstream deliveries to your configured endpoints with exponential backoff. You can also trigger a manual downstream retry for any event at any time from the event log.

Can I send webhooks to multiple endpoints?

Yes. Each integration can forward to as many endpoints as you need. Every destination is logged and retried independently.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. You can get started for free with no credit card required. Paid plans unlock higher event volumes and longer history retention.
