Shopify Installation Guide

Get Webhook Guard set up on your Shopify store in a few minutes.

1

Find the App in Shopify App Store

Log in to your Shopify admin panel. In the left menu, go to Apps and click Customize your store to visit the App Store. Search for Webhook Guard.

💡 You can also search directly at apps.shopify.com.
2

Open the App Listing and Click "Install"

Click the Webhook Guard listing to open its detail page, then click the Install app button.

3

Review & Confirm Permissions

Shopify displays a permissions screen. Webhook Guard requires the following scopes:

  • Read Read store information
  • Read Read webhooks
  • Write Write webhooks

Webhook Guard needs write access to webhooks in order to automatically create and manage webhook subscriptions on your behalf when you add integrations. It cannot access your password or any other sensitive account credentials.

Click Install app to authorize the installation.

4

You're In — Installation Complete

After you confirm, Shopify redirects you to the Webhook Guard app and you land on the Dashboard. Your store is now connected — installation is done.

Your store starts on the Free plan automatically — no plan selection and no credit card required to get started.

Next, head to the User Guide to create your first integration, test your endpoint, and start monitoring webhook deliveries.
